A look back through the grapevine
1981 JUSTIN Vineyards & Winery was founded by Justin Baldwin in Paso Robles; only eight wineries existed in Paso Robles at the time
1981 The first vines were planted on the Estate property, three of the five classic Bordeaux grape varieties: cabernet sauvignon, merlot, cabernet franc
1984 Construction was completed on the original winery
1987 The first vintage of JUSTIN Reserve was released; in 1989, it would be renamed ISOSCELES
1988 The first vintage of Cabernet Sauvignon was released
1990 The Tasting Room was opened to the public, and the Wine Society was started
1991 The Restaurant at JUSTIN and the JUST Inn opened
1991 JUSTIFICATION, an exquisite blend of Cabernet Franc and Merlot inspired by the most famous wines from Bordeaux’s Right Bank, made its debut
1994 Robert Parker named Justin Baldwin one of the world’s top 10 winemakers in “Wine Heroes of the Year”
1995 The first-ever ISOSCELES Reserve went into production, which would later be released in 1998
1996 JUSTIN Vineyards & Winery hosted its inaugural JUSTIN Wine Society Gala
1994 The 1994 ISOSCELES earned the coveted Pichon Lalande trophy at the London International Wine & Spirits Competition for “Best Red Blend,” putting JUSTIN and Paso Robles on the global winemaking map
2001 Construction on the wine caves began
2003 The ISOSCELES Center, which includes the Barrel Chai, Wine Society Lounge, and Wine Caves, opened
2008 Decanter awarded the 2005 ISOSCELES the Top U.S.A. Bordeaux-style Blend
2014 The JUSTIN Estate Tasting Room was remodeled/reopened

2014 JUSTIN celebrated 25 years of ISOSCELES with the 2011 vintage
2015 JUSTIN Vineyards & Winery was named 2015 American Winery of the Year by Wine Enthusiast Magazine
2017 JUSTIN hosted the inaugural ISOSCELES Lounge event in New York for the release of the 2014 ISOSCELES
2018 The JUSTIN Downtown Tasting Room opened
2019 The 2015 vintage of PLATINUM Reserve, made of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, debuted
2021 JUSTIN celebrates 40 years!
