• Is picnicking allowed?

  Currently outside food is not permitted but guests are welcome to order from The Restaurant’s à la carte lunch menu to complement their tasting. Our current menus can be viewed here.

• Can I buy a bottle and enjoy on the property?

  Currently, bottle service is reserved for JUSTIN Wine Society Members only. For questions or reservations please contact our concierge at 805.591.3224 / [email protected].

• What is the maximum group size that can come?

  Currently both tasting room locations can welcome groups for tastings for up to 10 guests. For larger parties please contact our concierge at 805.591.3224 or by email at [email protected].

• Are Walk-Ins Welcome?

  To maintain the safety of our guests and employees, we are not currently accepting walk-ins.

• Do I need to wear a face covering?

  Per San Luis Obispo County guidelines, all guests and staff are required to wear masks while indoors at either of JUSTIN's two locations (JUSTIN Estate and JUSTIN Downtown Tasting Room).

• What other precautions is JUSTIN taking to ensure the safety of its guests and employees?

  At both JUSTIN Tasting Room locations, all high-touch surfaces are sanitized regularly, including in between reservations for wine tasting and dining. At this time all wine tasting experiences are taking place outdoors on our expansive patio where tables have been placed at least 6 feet apart to ensure proper social distancing. Sanitizing stations are available throughout the property for staff and upon arrival for guests joining us on the JUSTIN property.

  We will gladly replace any bottle of wine purchased from JUSTIN Vineyards & Winery that is damaged, flawed, or otherwise deemed to be unsatisfactory. We ask that the customer return the unfinished portion of the original bottle. To return an item, please contact us within 30 days of purchase.

TASTING

• HOW MUCH IS THE TASTING FEE?

  Estate tastings begin at $45 per person and are $60 per person for groups of 7 or more. Premium tastings begin at $85 per person.

  JUSTIN Wine Society Members enjoy complimentary tastings for 4 people total.

  ISOSCELES Reserve Members enjoy complimentary tastings for 6 people total.

  Well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome outdoors at management discretion at the JUSTIN Vineyards & Winery Estate. Service animals are welcome indoors at the JUSTIN Downtown Tasting Room.

WINE SOCIETY

• DOES JUSTIN OFFER A WINE CLUB?

  Yes, the JUSTIN Wine Society ships 6 or 12 bottles every Spring and Fall to our members, at a 20% discount.  For more information CLICK HERE.

• WHEN AND HOW DO I RECEIVE NOTIFICATIONS REGARDING CLUB SHIPMENTS?

  We notify our Wine Society members via email prior to being charged for club shipments. We ship allocations once billing is complete, which is approximately one week after being charged for the shipment.

• CAN I CANCEL MY CLUB MEMBERSHIP?

  You may request to cancel your membership any time after receiving the second shipment. Changes and cancellations to your membership record must be made in writing by email to [email protected]  or U.S. mail to 11860 Chimney Rock Road, Paso Robles, CA 93446 at least 30 days prior to the next scheduled shipment. HISTORY

• WHEN WERE THE FIRST GRAPES HARVESTED?

  The first estate grapes were harvested in 1987. The wines were produced in the original winery, which is where the current Tasting Room and The Restaurant are located. The wine, called “JUSTIN Reserve” was a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot. It would later be renamed ISOSCELES.

• WHEN WERE THE FIRST JUSTIN VINES PLANTED?

  In 1981, Justin Baldwin purchased 160 acres in Paso Robles. In his quest to produce the finest Bordeaux-style reds, he planted three of the five classic Bordeaux grape varietals: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc.

• WHY DO YOU HAVE A RESTAURANT AT THE WINERY?

  We’re one of only a handful of the 5000+ wineries in the U.S. with its own restaurant.  We opened it back in 1991, because we believe that nothing enhances great wine like great food.
